42 years ago John and I were married. I won't say we've lived happily ever after but I will say it's been worth every single day to get to where we are now. I thought I loved him when I married him but I didn't really know what true love is all about.
I like the line I heard in a movie once. "When two people (who love each other) do something that hurts the other one..... they don't forget what happened ... they forgive."
That's what keeps the relationship going.
No marriage (including ours) is smooth sailing all the time but if we'll forgive, then the love will grow deeper and richer with each passing year.
God has blessed me with a Wonderful husband and I don't want to ever take him for granted. He has taught me so much about love and about putting your spouse first.
We are so thankful for the 42 years we've had together and look forward to the next 42.
